We're going to be parents!

Okay, I think I need to clarify what I mean when I say parents.
Ty and I are just about finished with our training to become FOSTER parents. We have taken all of the classes so all we need to do is get a home inspection and our background checks back.
This all started one day driving home from the gym. We passed a sign that read "foster parents needed" so I jokingly turned to Ty and told him that I think we should do it. He thought about it for a minute then said "We really should." So here we are. We could have a child living with us within a month!

I know when you read the title to this post you probably thought, "Yay she's pregnant!" Well If you thought that... then your right! We are also due with our next Baby Brown in January and couldn't be more excited. I am only about 8 weeks along but I can't hold it in any longer, I want to tell the whole world, but my husband will probably take care of that for me.. He kind of has a big mouth :).
Sorry there are no pictures, but this is stuffed full of big news so I didn't think pictures were necessary!
Thanks for reading!

Family BBQ

Today was supposed to be Kamdyn's due date so in memory of the little guy we decided to have a family BBQ. I was a little worried that it was going to rain and we would all have to crowd into my tiny house. Luckily for us it only sprinkled for a couple of minutes. The food was great and I think every one had a good time. I am so glad I have such a good family and married into the best family I could ever ask for.

We sent off blue balloons in memory of kamdyn. If you ask my brother-in-law Cason (who is almost 3) where the balloons are going, he says "they are going up to Kamdyn." It is the cutest thing ever :).

Thank you ever one that came over, the rest of my family that couldn't make it, friends, neighbors, and co-workers for all of your love, support, and prayers. I love you all very much!

Kamdyn Ross Brown

Friday April 29th 2011,
My world came to a screeching halt. I found out that the baby I had been carrying inside of me for the past seven months, no longer had a heartbeat. We did not know how or why this happened. I felt like my own heart had stopped right along with his.

Saturday April 30th, 2011,
My beautiful perfect little son, Kamdyn Ross Brown, was delivered into this world with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. He was only here to recieve his body then sent back up to live with his Heavenly Father. He was 3 lbs. 11 oz. and 16.5 in. long. I got to see his perfectly sculpted face, his red hair, and his long little arms and legs.  He looked so peaceful laying in my arms. Every time I held him, my heart was overwhelmed with love.

Although I will never get to see my little baby boy take his first breath, hear him cry or laugh, take his first steps, or grow up here on this earth, I know I will get to hold him in my arms when the time is right for us to meet again. I know my Heavenly Father is taking care of my angel and they are both looking down at me, keeping me safe and comforted at this time. As I finish my journey here on earth I know I have an angel watching over me with every step I take. There is not a day that will go by when I don't think of him.

Kamdyn,
I will always love you and keep
you in my heart and thoughts everyday.
You are my whole world.
I know you will send your brothers and sisters
when your dad and I are ready.
I love you more than words can explain,
my precious angel.
love, Mom

Just have to vent a little..

Just because I clean up poop doesnt mean I should get treated like poop!

Why do the employees that always go above and beyond what is expected get treated worse than the employees that just do the very minimum?

I am not trying to brag or anything, but I feel like I have been a very good CNA at my place of work. I have never called in sick, or not shown up for my shift. I love and treat all of the residents like they are my family.

Normally I never complain but recently, I have found out a few things about the wages of my co-workers that do not make me very happy. I did not receive an anual raise for 2010 because of changes that were being made by my company, the recession, and so on.. I have just been told that I will not be recieving an anual raise for the second time this year. However, I will be brought up to the same pay that all of the new CNA's that are being hired this year are starting out at. If I have you lost.. I am currently making LESS than all of the CNA's that have been hired this year. There are some really good CNA's that have been hired latley, but others do not do as good as I personally think that they should. So apparently doing what is right and having 2 years of experience with this company means absolutly nothing!

Alright enough pity party for me.. I love my job, I love my job, I love my job..

My Parents
I don't care who you are, my parents are better than yours!

My mom always has a book in her hand (sometimes 3 or 4). She is not afraid to say what is on her mind, and doesn't care what anyone thinks of her. She is not afraid to try anything new at least once. She is always volunteering for everything, and has a hard time saying no to anyone. She loves to talk and gets along with anyone she meets, which can make trips to the store take a lot longer than planned. We always seem to run into some one she knows. My mom makes the best cookies EVER! My mom is my best friend and we do almost everything together. I can talk to her about anything.
A lot of people tell me that I act just like my mom, but most of those people don't know my dad.

My dad is pretty shy around new people but once you get him talking, he doesn't shut up. He knows everything that there is to know about computers. He can figure out how to fix anything. Whenever I need something built, fixed, or assembled my dad is always willing to help me out (a.k.a. do the whole thing for me). My dad loves to be outdoors, mostly out on the boat fishing or trying to ski. He also loves to go riding on the fourwheelers and his motorcycle. He is just a big kid at heart and sometimes he thinks he can still do the stuff he did as a kid.
(I couldn't get this picture to turn)

My parents are very different from eachother but they are perfect together. I love them both very much and wouldn't change anything about them. :)
